The Purpose of this Trial Run (at the end of May)
To find out if there will be a good participation rate using Octopus cards instead of using smartphone apps in the contact tracing application.
Terms and Conditions of Participation
These are the terms (the “Agreement”) that govern your participation in this research “Using an anonymous Public Transit Card for COVID19 Contact Tracing” (the “Research”).
By tapping your public transit card to our dedicated terminal, you are agreeing to these terms, which form a legal contract between iBonus Limited based in 338, 16W, Science Park “iBonus”, and the participant (“you”).
- Participation and Withdrawal
- You voluntarily agree to participate in this research study.
- You can submit a request to remove your participation records by email to us (theophilus@ibonus.net)
- The Content of the Public Transit Card (“Card”)
- Only the public serial number section of the Card is read.
- The content or value of the Card will not be read or altered.
- iBonus is not liable for the change of the value or any damage to the Card.
- Privacy Policy
- Data collection will be in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong.
- No personal information such as name, ID, phone number, detailed address of work, or home address is recorded.
- All recorded data will be destroyed at the end of the Research.
- Limitation of liability
- Neither iBonus, HKSTP, nor Urban Property Management Limited shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages, or losses arising directly or indirectly from the Research or other aspect related thereto or in connection with this Agreement.
- Governing law and jurisdiction
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
- Language Version
- This Agreement is written in both Chinese and English language. In case there is any conflict between the Chinese version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.

以下是您參與本研究的協議、簡稱（“協議”），

當您的公交卡拍在我們專用終端機上，即表示您同意以下條款，在法律上構成參與者(“您”) 與科學園338號16W的易寳時有限公司（iBonus)之間的協議。
1.參與和退出
1.1 您自願同意參加此研究。
1.2 您可以通過電子郵件向我們提交刪除您的參與記錄的請求 （theophilus@ibonus.net）
2.公共交通卡（“卡”）的內容
2.1僅讀取卡的公共序列號部分。
2.2卡的內容或價值不會被讀取或更改。
2.3 iBonus對卡的價值更改或任何損壞概不負責。
3.隱私權政策
3.1數據收集將遵守本地的《個人數據（隱私）條例》
3.2 沒有個人信息的記錄存儲，例如姓名，証件號碼，電話號碼，工作的詳細地址或家庭住址。
3.3 研究結束時，所有數據記錄將被銷毀。
4.責任範圍
iBonus、香港科學園有限公司和富城物業管理有限公司均不對任何由研究直接或間接產生的損害或損失，或與本協議有關或與本協議有關的其他方面直接，間接，偶然或間接的責任。
5.適用法律和管轄權
本協議受香港特別行政區法律約束
6. 本協議有中、英文本, 如有爭辯、以英文文本為準
